Its so surprising for me that a plant that i would usually see everyday became so beautiful during thunder showers. the intensity of light during thunderstorms in united states change very frequently, probably because the clouds are scattered. In late spring, a sapling sprung to life in our balcony. it was small having 2 tiny leaves. One cloudy day, it began raining quite heavily and i was out enjoying the rain. I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the plant again. Even though, it was a weed, it was so full of bright green and what made the scape beautiful was the brick wall right behind it. It was a time for a perfect photo. I waited for the rains to stop and luckily the clouds started moving increasing the light.
Rest is all spoken in the picture. Color was beautiful and so was black and white.
i was reading some photographer's bloag and he had said, " You don't need to make a setup for shooting, its always there. One needs to see it..".

Glassed!

Winters are beautiful only to be viewed through a photograph. recently, it has been very cold in Indiana and after a severe snow storm, the sun finally showed up! even though it was below freezing point, snow started melting slowly but this process was stalled suddenly by a breeze of chill wind! The wind left leaving everything Glassed!

the yellow moon

we see it so often.. every night it appears with a new charisma, something different and one has to look carefully.. this has been one of my snaps took sometime last year in a clear sky of fall.
I could not wait to capture the yellowness of the moon. though pale in color, to me it appears so beautiful.

An evening at Olive Garden, 23rd Jan

We were at Olive Garden, celebrating Mr. Patel's 25th birthday. Olive Garden has one of the best italian dishes and above all, has a good collection of italian wines. We partied and while i was leaving, the bottles caught my attention.

i just realized that the picture has a little shake in it.

Finally...

I have been waiting for almost a week. For a lens.. and the wait is finally over. its a canon 28-105mm and i believe its gonna work better than a 50mm and a standard 75-300mm.
last year, i was at Raleigh, NC. (December in NC is only good for snow sports, :) )
wanted to write a travel doc. and infact i started documenting it. but i guess the writer is not in me.
i will be uploading some photographs of the trip and maybe write a small article on each photograph....

MEMYSELFANDABHIJEET

I have no idea why this name. infact, it was suggested to me by my roommate, Srinivas, the day after the desi party. well, strange things happened that night and he witnessed few of them (i was involved in all of those strange incidences). And such incidences have happened more than once :).
I think, its a true sign of a "geminian", no comments on that but this is the way i behave.
I guess this name definitely lets me think on lines, who i am, what i have and what can i give (all three make me complete, PJ).
while writing this section, i realised one more thing, so far, at times, i made hasty and unnecessary decisions over which i screwed myself up, people got annoyed big time and then i had to rethink over what i did and then take a decision (which was usually not same as the earlier one). it would be seen in a away that three people (me, myself and abhijeet) had different opinions which finally led my boat (i am the combo of these three) sail in some random unknown direction.
You know what, WHATEVER,
This is me after all, if u can take me, lets be friends, if u cannot, leave me,

why blog

i dont know why i wanted to start blogging. one of the many "to do's" in the wishlist. i think reading people's experiences and then relating them to own's life has always been fun for me and i guess many of the readers would agree to it.
i was reading an article about blogs and it said that in today's world, it is one of the better ways to express yourself, when you are up or down, when you have nothing to do, about how u feel about somethings, issues and what not.
